Who are we?

Emperor Tropicals is an independently owned and dedicated aquatic retailer. We specialise in all things aquatic and because we are independent we can offer you a massive choice of products, which we believe are the best. We have been established since 1983 in Plymouth, run by fishkeepers for fishkeepers.

Lets start with Fish…

We quarantine and sell you only the best quality livestock sourced from around the world. Our livestock is monitored and maintained for health as a priority from within our own purpose built quarantine facility. We sell tropical, coldwater, pond and marine fish.

We pride ourselves on having some of the best choices of healthy aquatic plants within the UK and they are ordered fresh every week. In season we also have a vast selection of pond marginals plants and water lilies.

There is a huge array of dry goods from all the leading manufacturers. We will only deal with manufacturers that we feel can help us offer you the best products which are of the highest quality. So you as a customer get the very best. We have a large selection of aquariums for sale from starter aquariums to custom-built options. We have had custom-built aquariums made for large ships, a zoo and regular homes; the only limits are your imagination.
